What a world it would be if we treated each person based on the potential we see in them. Is this a little bit overly-optimistic? That just by our believing in someone else they can achieve a higher level? It's not likely that it would be the only factor- But it can certainly be a critical one. To thrive people need an environment that builds them up. One that believes in them, even when they themselves don't always believe.
