What a world it would be if we treated each person based on the potential we see in them. Is this a little bit overly-optimistic? That just by our believing in someone else they can achieve a higher level? It's not likely that it would be the only factor- But it can certainly be a critical one. To thrive people need an environment that builds them up. One that believes in them, even when they themselves don't always believe. Remember that the next time you talk to someone you manage or mentor. With a little help, what could they be?
